The piece was a result of photograms from the artist Ilian Wolf, a vast amount of work, realized without the actual camera.

The bodies of the dancers became the positives and negatives of the photograms subsequently leaving an imprint.

‘Roue Cool’ is about the desire to leave a trace:  an imprint on someone s’ body, in space and within memories. The dancers emerge and twirl on their wheels, the latter either being roller blade wheels or that of a wheelchair.

A huge energy emanates from this piece; one that lifts your spirit high.
