The ANAMESA Festival, inspired and organised by DK-BEL,

a non-profit organisation in Villiers-le-Bel (FR), is an bi-annual transnational meeting around Art and disability.

 

Initiated in Athens, Greece in March 2013, in Budapest , Hungary in april 2014,

then in Ile de France (France) in 2016, 

it was organized in Lisbon from the 18 to 23 October 2018.

"ANAMESA" is an artistic project that aims to create links beyond any borders:

 

Geographical, 

by matching participants and artists from different countries, with and without disabilities.

​

Artistic, 

by offering a way to  gather and stirdifferent arts: music, dance, visual arts, sound creation, Street Arts creation.

 

Social, 

by bringing together people of all ages and of different worlds.

​

Arts-through-diversity, 

by making the inner side of each visible through artistic expression, 

by changing attitudes and by enabling one to see  the world of disability through a new spectrum,

the Anamesa Festival trasmits the values of optimism, altruism and solidarity across Europe.
